How do I know?
Because I spent over two decades feeling that way myself (and struggling with emotional eating, binge eating & bulimia for many years). I've also spent almost an entire decade working with other women in the exact same place.
After all that time, I've yet to meet a single woman willing to sell her body to Ben and Jerry for a pint of Chunky Monkey. But I have learned why we end up feeling so out of control with food, and struggling so hard to "stay on track" or find peace in our bodies.
More importantly, I learned the exact steps required to change it and I've bundled them up into a simple-to-follow system that I call Cognitive Eating.

It breaks my heart every single time because I remember what it was like to live that way - to be so beaten down by that constant war in my head that I was exhausted and often dreaded getting out of bed in the morning because I knew it was just going to start all over again. And it's all so simple to change!
I spent decades struggling with weight, body image, food, an eating disorder, depression, panic attacks, and an anxiety disorder.
I've also been an award-winning personal trainer and nutrition and wellness coach, and a nationally qualified champion figure athlete. I spent 8 years in that world and was successful in it - I've written for bodybuilding websites, was featured by Muscle Insider, and Bodybuilding.com.
But I was never really happy or at peace because, like many women, I desperately chased happiness and self-worth through my body and my weight. It never came and the harder I tried to control what was going in, the worse my food issues (and shame) got.
And the more women I worked with, the more I realized it wasn't just me so I kept studying - psychology, neuroscience, habits and human behavior. Is this a weight loss program? Will I lose weight?
I define the phrase, "settling into your ideal weight with grace and ease" as weight freedom which I define as the ability to maintain a weight in which we're happy, healthy and confident. One in which we feel and function at our best without thought or obsession.
You'll be learning to make choices from a place of empowerment & joy, choices that make your body feel terrific to live in, and ultimately just living in peace and learning to love and enjoy food again, guilt and shame free.

When does it start and what happens when I sign up?
When you enroll you'll get a welcome email with an intial consult form to be filled out and sent back to me. Our next start date is September 21st, 2020. This is when you'll gain access to all the content, and the weekly chats.
Every week after that, you'll get an email from me with content for that week and a reminder about the chat. The weekly chats are where you'll have the opportunity to go over any questions you have live, with me.
How do I know this will work for me when I've tried so many other things?
I almost exclusively work with women who have "tried it all". Women just like you who feel like failures because they've been struggling for years. Of those women, I have never, ever had a single for whom my process did not change literally everything, when they did the work and kept practicing the skills they learn. I cannot guarantee how long it will take but I can guarantee that it's a process that will work if you're commited to it.
Well how do I know I'll actually to stick to this when I just end up quitting everything else?
You don't and neither do I. What I will tell you, is that this process is unlike anything you've done before and I've meticulously crafted every detail to support your success. There's no guilt, restriction, deprivation, feelings of failure, or any of that stuff that comes from the things you've tried already. Feeling good and doing things that align with your wants and needs is the entire goal of this process - what do you want and need right now to just feel good?
That's really at the heart of this work. It's about learning to do things that align with who you are, with what you want and what you need to feel better. That makes it a whole lot easier to not want to quit - because there's no suffering, deprivation or punishment involved! And when you practice the new skills long enough, there isn't even anything to quit because your brain completely changes so it just becomes your new normal!
I'm nervous about the group element. I'm very private and I don't like to share.
This is a common concern but one of the things the women in my groups always say they love the most is getting to share with women who know exactly what they're going through. Knowing we're not alone and other people understand us is incredibly comforting healing because we're wired for connection and belonging.
How much of a time commitment is required?
Very little - approximately 15-20 minutes per day for the growth-work, plus 60-90 minutes per week for the coaching calls.
What's the movement bonus section all about? Is this an exercise program?
No, you won't be given workouts but there will be a movement element because we want to address both physical and mental health. Each week you'll be given a booklet with movement options and tips for learning to build movement into your daily life as a long-term habit that you enjoy, rather than a chore you dread. Improving the way it feels to live in your body is the goal. Learning to change your relationship with exercise so you stop dreading it and start building the habit of incorporating it into your life in a way that will last and makes your body feel good is the also goal.
