Your Practices for Day Five

Watch the video below then refer to your practices for today and your workbook for your homework. Day five is all about building body connection and trust.

  1. Continue your practices from days one through four.

  2. Practice pausing and staying present IN your body.

  3. Do a short body scan as often as you think of it. What do you feel in your body? Where do you feel it?

  4. Before you eat, pause, connect with your body and notice - are you physically hungry?

  5. After you eat, continue paying attention to how your body feels when you eat different things.


When you feel overwhelmed, don’t get discouraged. Return to the moment, relax and breathe.

Day's End Journal Prompts


Take a few minutes to reflect on your day and consider or journal about the following:

  • How did it go?

  • What have you been saying to yourself about the process?

  • How often were you able to stop and remember to practice any of the new practices?

  • Celebrate your successes, no matter how small, and keep building on them!
