How It Works

  • each day for five days you'll get a short video lesson (approx. 5-20 minutes per day)

  • each day for five days you'll get an outline of new elements to practice

  • a short handout is also included with each lesson that will provide a small amount of homework (approx. 5 minutes per day)

  • at the end of the 5 days we'll do a live 60-90 minute group call where we'll go over how the week went for you. I'll be available to answer any questions you have and provide more insight and guidance on anything you struggled with while celebrating your successes

Roni Davis spent over two decades struggling with weight, food (mindless, emotional and binge eating), an eating disorder, depression, panic attacks, and an anxiety disorder. She's also been a nationally qualified champion figure athlete, written for bodybuilding websites, was featured in a national fitness magazine, by Bodybuilding.com and spent almost a decade helping people transform their bodies as an award-winning personal trainer and nutrition and wellness coach.

 

After over two decades of her own personal weight & food struggles and almost a decade in the weight loss/fitness industry, Roni left the fitness industry and bundled everything she learned from her own recovery, from her time as a trainer & nutrition & wellness coach with everything she learned in her mindfulness-based cognitive behavior coach training, to create Cognitive Eating.  This allows her to guide and support people to live healthier lives through behavior and habit modification at the brain level, where it counts and will actually stick. Frequently asked questions

What happens when I register?


You'll receive an email shortly before we begin with everything you need to access the course and I'll be in touch to find out what your schedule is like. This will help me determine a time for our group call at the end of the course. I'll do my best to schedule it for a time that works best for everyone.




When does it start?


The micro-course is set to start on August 31st and run through September 4th but you have access to the content as long as you need it so no worries about missing a day or falling behind.




What happens if I miss the group call at the end?


If you're not able to attend the group call you can submit your comments and questions ahead of time and I'll address them for you. Assuming everyone on the call agrees, it will be recorded so you can watch it whenever time permits. If those participating in the call prefer that it not be recorded, I'll answer your questions/comments directly to you and separately.




How do I qualify for a Cognitive Eating Academy scholarship?


Qualifying for a scholarship to the Cognitive Eating Academy requires a few criteria be met. This helps me ensure it goes to someone commited to the process. 1) Share the micro-course with at least 2 friends that you think might be interested or benefit from going through it with you. 2) Share something about your experience with the micro-course each day during the course on social media and tag me (so I see it) and/or share at least three of my posts throughout the month of August. The more you post/share/engage, the better your chances of getting chosen. 3) All your micro-course content must be completed and submitted to me no later than September 8th along with a short paragraph or two telling me what changes you're hoping to make by participating in the CEA and how those changes would impact your life. All eligible participants will be collected by September 10th and the winner will be contacted by September 11th. The next round of the CEA starts on September 21st.
