The System Is Broken

What I'm about to say is as real as it gets. 👇

The weight loss and fitness industries are built upon selling things that don't really add any value to peoples lives.

The entire industry is based upon the promise to transform you but provides you with nothing new to really accomplish that.

We live in a world where literally anyone with a few extra dollars to spare can give it to any one of a half-dozen MLM schemes to purchase a marketing package, instantly become a “fitness coach” and peddle their overpriced, overpriced, processed crap.

We live in a world where any asshat who starves themselves and loses a few pounds tell you entire food groups are the enemy or can put out a 12 week transformation challenge, post it on instagram for $39, have hundreds or thousands of people buy it, and not have people actually change.

I don't mean change for 12 weeks and then put it all back on again.

I mean, REALLY change.

I mean, do these people actually live better lives, are they better role models, are they happier, more at peace, more in love with themselves and their bodies?

Not usually.

They spend their life bouncing around from one 6 or 12 week program, or diet, or personal trainer to another chasing happiness... with their bodies, themselves, their lives.

Most of them "fall off" before getting anywhere or they complete it, see change and put it all back on as soon as it’s over.

That’s the reality of the entire industry.

Millions of programs providing people with billions of dollars worth of useless products and training and nutrition information – with almost nobody ever TRULY transforming.

Obesity is an epidemic. Don't even try to tell me the current system is working. It is NOT.

And you see, the worst thing about the personal trainer gig is that I thought I had to be like them.

That’s what everyone is doing, so as a trainer, that’s just what you do.

But when I started, I didn’t know all that I know now about WHY the current system isn’t working. I hadn't spent years watching it fail people -- not just my own clients but people everywhere.

I thought I could just give people a workout, a training app, a diet plan, all the info they needed and they'd magically follow it all and their bodies would magically transform the way my body had.

I thought I had to post pictures on Instagram of perfect abs and a perfect ass.

I thought I had to do what my trainers had always done -- just give a plan and wait for progress reports while constantly remind people to stop missing workouts or cheating on their diets or they’d never have that hot body.

I've been unhappy doing that for quite some time but as last year was rounding out in to 2018, I decided I just couldn’t do it anymore.

I didn’t know how I was going to change what I was doing, this was unchartered territory after all, but I knew I needed to or I had to find a new profession because the job that I used to love, was sucking the life out of me.

I didn’t start training people to pass out diets and workouts that most people won’t do.

I started because I wanted to transform lives and being one of a million other people passing out diets and workout programs that you’re probably not even going to do is just not cutting it.

You don’t need another diet and workout program.

You need a coach that will lead you through the crap that’s keeping you from actually doing (or sticking to) the hundreds of programs you’ve tried.

You need a community of support.

You need accountability.

You need a positive voice in your ear to help drown out all the abusive ones that are running on auto play and unchecked in your head 24/7.

You need to learn why you’re sabotaging yourself or how to overcome emotionally relying on food or how to change the story you’re telling yourself about yourself that are keeping you repeating the same destructive patterns and from reaching the transformation you’re chasing with every diet.

Anyone can give you a diet and workout program, if that’s all you're after. They're everywhere. You don’t need me for that.

You need me for help actually transforming everything. I'm the girl that's going to get you real results because I'm revolutionizing how true transformation is done.

Does this resonate with you? Shoot me a message and let me know.

My roll as a coach, in its most simple form, is to encourage, coach and/or act as a facilitator of a client’s self-reflection, decision making, planning for the future, and creating life changes. As an MBCT & cognitive eating coach, I am obligated to refer clients in need of mental or physical health therapy to an appropriate licensed professional.
